The Clachan Hotel, Lochearnhead

The hotel is set in a stunning and brilliant location so close to the loch, certain areas and the restaurant. We stay there regularly and would definitely go back, everything was very good.

It was in the remote location right by the lake.

The room was spacious, but we encountered a lingering damp smell in the reception.

By and large, it was fabulous base for sightseeing in Lochearnhead, had much fun and met accommodating and polite staff on checking in the manager would apologise. The location was unbeatable, so close to the garden, Loch Earn, and a Beautiful lake.

Great stay with fine views

Just came back from a night here and honestly, the views over the loch are amazing! The staff were super friendly, like the bartender. Our room was kinda outdated and a bit noisy at times. The bar's snacks were on point, though! Can't beat the cozy atmosphere.

Opt for the local dining specialties in the bar. the large portions and exceptional flavors truly elevate the experience.

great view but minor comfort issues

The view over the loch set a beautiful backdrop for our stay. Our room was bright, clean, and had windows we could open for fresh air.

The radiator control was a bit confusing at times.

Perfect for a cozy lakeside escape

The food was really good, like that steak pie was one for the books, and the cozy vibe by the log fire made it all better. I mean after a long day, just sitting in front of that fireplace was pure bliss, you know?

Sure it wasn't exactly pocket change but it's what you expect for a good experience.

Fine Views and Attentive Staff!

Rhoda's hospitality was really good. I highly recommend trying the Cullen skink-it's packed with fish! A few minor upgrades could enhance the overall experience even further.

The hotel had a beautiful view over Loch Earn and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly, but I found some aspects like noise levels and a lack of variety in breakfast a bit disappointing.

Charming Stay with Room Upgrade

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a fine loch view room with amazing vistas. The restaurant served excellent steak and cullen skink. By night, we enjoyed friendly chats with fellow travelers. For future guests, opt for the loch view and savor the good full Scottish breakfast!

Just a reliable pick for a short stayover in Lochearnhead with excellent value for money. The food was delicious, especially the Cullen skink special. For a good experience, try to get a room with a garden view.

Charming hotel with fine loch views.

We stayed in a Double Room with a Lake View, and the scenery was fine! The bed was super comfy, and the shower pressure was great. The decor gave off cozy vibes too. Just a few cobwebs on the window detracted a bit, and the bathroom could use some heating, especially in winter. But overall, it felt very cute and relaxing.

The lake view from my room was amazing, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The meals were delicious, especially the freshly prepared breakfast that fueled my day.
